Antony

The forecasters predicted heavy showers for Sunday afternoon, but it was sunny so we decided to chance the weather and go for a walk around Antony.

The walled gardens were absolutely beautiful.  English summer gardens at their best.

Having explored the formal gardens we then walked down to the Woodland Garden and followed the 'blue' path.  Last time we were here a lot of this walk was closed due to the fear of disease in rhododendron, but we were able to walk much further this time. We realised how many camelias we missed seeing.  Hopefully next year when they are all out we will be able to see them. It was a very pleasant walk with hydrangeas out in many places.
